Mrs. Mary Helen Dorlon, 63, of Dalton, departed this life Thursday morning, Sept. 12, 2013, at the local hospital.
Mary was born Aug. 15, 1950, in Sweetwater, Tenn., a daughter of the late Arlen and Mary Ruth McKee Lynn. She was also preceded in death by her son, Douglas Bryan Bramblett; brother, Roy Lynn; sister, Shirley Rosenbaum.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Jack Edward Dorlon of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Jason Holtzclaw of Chatsworth; stepchildren, Cindy and Jeff Cline of Rocky Face, Jackie Dorlon of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Wanda Lynn of Dalton, Earl and Connie Lynn of Riceville, Tenn., Charles and Ellen Lynn of Cleveland, Tenn., Robert and Joy Lynn of Charleston, Tenn.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Thomas Webb of Dalton, Linda and David Hamilton of Tunnel Hill, Faye Lynn of Sweetwater, Tenn.; grandchildren, Kaylee and Lauren Holtzclaw, Jennifer Cline, Brittany Dorlon; special child, Blake Calhoun; nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mary Helen Dorlon will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Cleveland Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Bruce Headrick and the Rev. Roy Gross officiating.
She will be at the church from 1 p.m. until funeral hour.
She will be laid to rest beside her son at Dogwood Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
