Robbie Dee Hall Ryan, 92, of Chatsworth, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at the Chatsworth Health Care Center.
Robbie graduated from Murray County High School in 1940. She then went on to work as a scheduler for the Lindsay Wire Weaving Company in Cleveland, Ohio, a postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in Eton, and a 4-H program assistant for the UGA Cooperative Extension Service in Chatsworth. She was a member of Eton United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She also served as a Pink Lady at Murray County Hospital.
Robbie was preceded in death by her parents, S.G. and Carrie Lee Hall; brothers, Egbert, Whit, Jim, Frank and Hugh M. Hall; and sisters, Jewel Bostic, Malva Hall, Eunice Springfield and Cora Green.
Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Richard Edward Ryan; daughter, Deborah and Mike Craft of Ringgold; sister, Florine Hall Morgan of Eton; grandchildren, Caitlin Elizabeth Craft, Ryan Michael Craft and Allison Lee Craft; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ryan will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Eton United Methodist Church.
Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Ryan.
