Ina Erlene Hall Kerr Caldwell, 80, a resident of Cohutta and formerly of Cleveland, Tenn., passed away Sunday evening, Oct. 13, 2013, in a Fort Oglethorpe health care facility.
She was the daughter of the late John B. and Sally Dunn Hall, and she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Moore and Gladys Wilson; and her brother, Spence Hall.
She was a member of the Cohulla Baptist Church in the Strawhill community of Bradley County and was also a member of the American Legion Auxillary. She loved quilting, cooking, puzzles and sewing.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Shults and her husband Mack of Cohutta; her son, Mitchell Kerr and his wife Teresa of Ringgold; grandchildren, Jeremy Kerr, Brandi Shelton, Christy Shults and Amy Chastain; sisters, Faye Long, Linda Ratcliff, Jewell Hinkle and Vivian McKeehan, all of Cleveland, Tenn.; one brother, Verlin Hall of Cohutta; and several nieces and nephews.
A remembrance of life service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Paul Fox officiating.
Interment will be in the Cohulla Baptist Church Cemetery with family members serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Wildwood Chapel.
