Mr. Derrick Eddie Hall, 32, of Rocky Face, departed this life Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at Emory University Medical Center in Atlanta.
Derrick was born Oct. 19, 1981, in Dalton. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Evelyn Edwards and Joann Bennett.
Derrick was a musician and loved to play the guitar. He loved music and collecting antique toys.
He is survived by his wife, Tiffany Hawkins, and his son, Holden Blue Hall, of the residence; father, Eddie J. Hall of Dalton; mother and stepfather, Loraine and Matthew Crisfield of Dallas; brother, Darrell James Hall of Dalton; grandfathers, Jack Hall of Eton and James Bennett of Chatsworth; and several aunts and uncles.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Derrick Eddie Hall will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Killion officiating.
He will be laid to rest at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery in Murray County with his family and close friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
