Letter: Part of the family

We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the staff of the Regency Park Health Care facility for the wonderful care they have provided for our mother, Elizabeth Parrott.

After she suffered a major stroke, Regency became her home for seven years. The love and care they provided for her was more than just a job. The daily care of the staff was shown with love and tenderness and mother began to love each and every one of them and they became part of her family. The support they provided for her husband Herb as he began his journey as a caregiver is so appreciated and he, too, became part of the family at Regency Park.

Dalton is very fortunate to have this facility and we feel blessed that our mother was in their care during this phase of her life. May God bless the staff of Regency Park and all caregivers as they continue to love and care for others.

  • Letter: Primaries feature many choices

Many people are confused this year about the May 20 Election Day. Unfortunately, very few voters in Whitfield County actually go to the polls for a primary election. But this means any increase in participation can have a significant impact.
