Online hunting area maps now available

Submitted by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources



All of Georgia’s public lands open to hunting are mapped out, and now easily accessible online. Search online at www.georgiawildlife.com for maps by region or alphabetically for any Wildlife Management Area, Natural Area or Heritage Preserve open for hunting.

Available is a line map, topographical map and color infrared map in PDF format for each area, with many larger areas divided up by tract for easier viewing.

With opening day for deer season just a few weeks away, these newly updated maps should serve as an excellent resource for hunters across the state looking to plot their upcoming hunting trips.
