Area arrests

• Crystal Lynn Anderson, 34, 147 Helena Court, Baldwin, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of a schedule 1 drug.

• Charles Kenneth Brown, 46, 338 S. Ward Circle, Tunnel Hill, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime (violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act).

• Kevin Dwayne Bryant, 40, 282 Airport Circle N.W., Resaca, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation and felony failure to appear.

• Juan Escabar, 42, 314 W. Oak St., Chatsworth, was placed on hold Monday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Juan Carlos Fesado-Lina, 20, unknown street, Acworth, was placed on hold Monday at the Whitfield County jail for ICE.

• Ashley Brooke Flowers, 23, 712 Richardson Road, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime (burglary).

• Tony Lamar Hooker, 48, 225 Allen Road, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery and child molestation.

• Jonathan Long, 20, 2610 Cornelia Drive, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime (violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act).

• Mauricio Morales, 25, 4601 Packer Drive, Nashville, Tenn., was placed on hold Monday at the Whitfield County jail for ICE.

• Joshua Dewayne Short, 19, 308 Statesboro Way, Rocky Face, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation and by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth, possession of tools for the commission of crime (burglary), and giving a false name, address or date of birth to a law officer.

• Allen Michael Stone, 21, 121 Adair St., Calhoun, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime (violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act).

• Samantha Leann Weeks, 31, 877 Center Hill Church Road, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated stalking, battery (family violence, first offense) and criminal trespass.

• Ronnie Lee Cantrell, 55, 611 Honeycutt Road, Mableton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with two counts of trafficking in sales of meth, possession of meth to distribute, use of communication facilities in drug transactions, possession of meth and willful obstruction of law officers.

• Alfred Allen Francis, 43, no address given, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with battery, criminal trespass, being a fugitive from justice, obstruction of officer resulting in injury and giving a false name, address or date of birth to a law officer.
