Area arrests

• Regina Louise Lumpkin, 25, 1065 Pleasant Valley Road, Adairsville, was charged Friday by Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with battery (family violence).

• Jonathan Grant Dunn, 29, 1385 Highway 30, Reliance, Tenn., was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with discharging a firearm under the influence of alcohol, discharging a firearm on or near a public highway or street and discharging a firearm on another’s property.

• Stephanie Ann Gann, 44, 609 Maney Lane, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with endangering a child while under the influence and DUI.

• Aubrey Blake Williams, 21, 180 Irene Way, Cohutta, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, striking unattended vehicle and a headlights or other lights violation.

• Joel Oliver Williams, 26, 180 Irene Way, Cohutta, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with criminal damage to private property in the second, loitering or prowling and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

  • Police: Gun fired, man arrested following dispute on Morris Street (Updated 12:20 p.m.)

    A man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after firing a gun following a dispute at A-1 Towing at 1502 E. Morris St. in Dalton this morning, police said.
