Area arrests

• Junior Wayne Baker, 31, 1400 Stevenson Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with theft by deception, theft by receiving stolen vehicle (felony) and failure to appear.

• Damien Terell Dates, 31, 488 Center Hill Church Road, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and speeding.

• Paul Alexander Durham, 44, 1864 Lake Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Friday the Tunnel Hill Police Department with DUI and open container violation.

• Jason Paul Edwards, 31, Cottonwood Mill Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with terroristic threats and acts and willful obstruction of law officers.

• Jessica Grant, 32, 515 Ross Ave., Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of a schedule 2 drug, possession of meth, and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Christopher Lee Mantooth, 32, 1344 Peggy Lane, Tunnel Hill, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth to distribute, possession of a schedule 4 drug, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Evan Glen Phillips, 30, 906 Trammel St., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with criminal conspiracy, theft by deception, first degree forgery and deposit account fraud.

• Cecil Andrew Ponders, 33, 109 Deal Road, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with probation violation and sale of meth.

• Nathan Ryan Pratt, 26, 2007 Dawnville Beaverdale Road, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with impersonating a public officer or employee and criminal trespass.

• Nicole Lynn Tillberry, 25, 895 Houston Valley Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI (endangering a child under the influence of alcohol, two counts), DUI (drugs), DUI (endangering a child under the influence of drugs), safety belts violation (children 4 and younger), safety belts violation in passenger vehicle (two counts), failure to maintain lane and no license on person.

• Leslie Ann Winn, 44, 1415 Village Oak-1, Cleveland, Tenn., was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• James David Wood Jr., 21, 197 Waring Road, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Jesus Garcia-Lopez, 19, 706 Luckie St., Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI; furnish/purchase/possession of alcohol by a minor; too fast for conditions; and failure to maintain lane.

• Clifford Eugene Greeson, 39, 974 Sagamore Drive, Tunnel Hill, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Kayla Leann Hawkins, 23, 1970 Norton Bridge Road, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with manufacture/sell/dispense/distribution of meth and failure to appear.

• Jase Cameron Kirkus, 24, 488 Grist Mill Drive, Acworth, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI.

• Tommy R. Pass, 50, 1061 Groves Drive, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI (drugs), following too closely, tire violation, improper lane change or usage and failure to maintain lane.

• Alberto Pedro, 22, 503 Judson St., Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI.
