Area arrests

• Benjamin Franklin Clayton, 41, 10842 Highway 225, Lot 3, Crandall, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with interfering with a 911 call, battery (family violence) and first degree cruelty to children.

• Arnulfo Dimas Jr., 31, 309 Downing St., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with unlawful for inmate to possess a controlled substance, battery (family violence, first offense), theft by shoplifting, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and false imprisonment.

• Coy Tyler Green, 21, 305 Kay Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with battery (family violence, first offense), third degree cruelty to a child (allowing to witness felony, battery, family violence) and obstructing an emergency call.

• Nathan Gerald Inman, 28, 106 Rolling Hills Road, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of a schedule 2 substance.

• Stephanie Nicole Langley, 25, 4871 Old Federal Road-D, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth.

• Boyd Lin Marlow, 44, 344 Strain Road, Cohutta, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with battery.

• Michael Lamar Bradley, 28, 3686 Lindsey Memorial Road, Rocky Face, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by receiving stolen vehicle.

• Homer Olden Matthew Brown, 42, 285 Middleton Road, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts (family violence) and third degree cruelty to children.

• Patrick Chase O’Neal, 24, 113 Altamont Ave., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer, passing in a no-passing zone, driving too fast for conditions, failure to maintain a lane and a taillights violation.

• Owen David Rice, 47, 2015 James Court, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with simple battery (family violence) and loitering/fighting/disorderly conduct/impeding traffic.
