Area arrests

• Joseph Lee Carroll, 29, 1401 Belton Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by taking (larceny) and theft by deception.

• Adam Thomas Cobble, 32, 1403 Mack St., Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Sheleana Elaine Landon, 35, 1401 Belton Drive-4, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by taking (larceny), theft by deception and probation violation.

• Leonardo Miranda-Crespo, 32, 926 Avenue F-13, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth and probation violation.

• Michael Christopher Rose, 27, 4007 Mary Elizabeth Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary, first degree arson, felony bail jumping, willful obstruction of law officers and felony failure to appear.

• Michael Eugene Truitt, 45, 620 Fifth Ave.-28, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated assault, battery (family violence), public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and false imprisonment.

• Ashley Jordan Baldridge, 24, 2699 Dug Gap Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of schedule 2 and 3 drugs, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, drugs not in original container, crossing guard line with drugs without consent and a headlight violation.

• Sofonias Martinez, 55, 4314 Bass Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, failure to maintain lane, open container violation and unlawful use of central lane.

• Ezekiel Vanquez Stevenson, 25, 104 Lower Mill Creek Road, Rocky Face, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated assault, aggravated stalking, burglary, criminal trespass and possession of a firearm/knife during the commission of a felony.

• Jesse Willard Watkins, 53, 12110 McGhee Road, Apison, Tenn., was charged Thursday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI (drugs/alcohol), impeding traffic flow and driving while license suspended or revoked.
