Area arrests

• Richard Elmo Bunch III, 28, 918 Mill Creek Road, Rocky Face, was charged Thursday by the Georgia State Patrol with driving while license is suspended or revoked and safety belts violation.  

• Matthew Shane Dyer, 27, 6806 Ruggles Way, Knoxville, Tenn., was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by conversion (felony).

• Harold Lamar Hudgins, 50, 595 Smyrna Circle, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts, battery (family violence), and cruelty to children in the third degree.

• Kayla Louise Kimble, 18, 1008 Ponderosa Place, No. 1, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with maximum limits violation, and driving without a valid license (misdemeanor).

• Edwin Robert Posey, 51, 9209 S. Indiana Ave., Chicago, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with speeding and driving while license is suspended or revoked.

• Hope Brean Silvers, 24, 112 Charles Road, No. 7, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with theft by taking and forgery in the first degree.

• Rocky Lloyd Williams Jr., 21, 341 Riviera Blvd., Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with two counts of felony failure to appear.  

• Ramon Garcia, 30, 1401 Valley Way, Tunnel Hill, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault (gun), terroristic threats and acts, simple battery (family violence), cruelty to child (allow to witness felony/battery/family violence), and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

• Benjamin Joshua Starks, 31, 901 Underwood St., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with battery (family violence, first offense) and probation violation (misdemeanor).

• Deinesha Shawan Washington, 23, 1806 Shadow Lane, No. 3, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with terroristic threats and acts, simple assault and disorderly conduct.
