Area arrests

• Bernardo Apodaca, 21, 210 Pine Hill Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by state probation with felony probation violation and misdemeanor probation violation.

• Zachary Jacob Armstrong, 23, 52 Rock Haven Way, Chickamauga, was charged Wednesday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession of meth and criminal attempt to commit a felony.

• David Spencer Deaton, 43, 4658 E. Nance Springs Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Jonathan Christain Foxx, 30, 1279 Highway 411-114, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Jody Lee Raby, 31, 357 Carbondale Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault and criminal trespass.

• John Nathan Valdez, 28, 1888 Crow Valley Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with failure to register as a sex offender and felony probation violation.

• Brian Lee Yerty, 29, 839 New Hope Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by state probation with felony probation violation.

• Daniel Lee Zeigler, 54, 128 McIntosh Way, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of or intent to sell marijuana, sale of meth, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of meth, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

• Jennifer Sunshine Franklin, 39, 516 Baxter Road S.E.-B, Calhoun, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Amy Marie Garner, 31, 104 Zell Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with false statement/writing/concealing facts with government and false report of a crime.

• Christopher Dewayne Preavtte, 28, 182 Sunrise Lane, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with interference with a 911 call, terroristic threats and acts (family violence), aggravated assault (family violence) and five counts of cruelty to children.
