Area arrests

• Jimmy Elden Keener, 49, 2292 Richard Bennett Road, Crandall, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

• Tony Wilbur Bryson, 40, 422 Liberty Drive-36, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with burglary.

• Isaac Wesley Davis, 29, 786 Bermuda St.-G4, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with sale of or intent to sell marijuana.

• Jessica Darnell Jordan, 19, 4156 Highway 225 N., Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Jason Edward Keeler, 34, 173 Maddron Road, Crandall, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and two counts of burglary.

• Samuel David Keeler, 34, 102 Mary Lane-A, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Deborah Evonne Kendrick, 45, 1121 Riverbend Drive-6, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Brandi Elizabeth Nichols, 30, 1578 Tunnel Hill Varnell Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of meth, possession of a sawed-off gun or other dangerous weapon, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and hindering the apprehension or punishment of a criminal.

• Brian Keith Shelton, 41, 385 Hiawassee Way, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, fugitive from justice, probation violation and possession of a sawed-off gun or other dangerous weapon.

• Randall Dale Chastain Jr., 33, 2614 Roberts Ave., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Georgia State Patrol with possession of meth, DUI (drugs), obstruction of a law enforcement officer by threat or violence, failure to maintain lane, driving on a suspended or revoked license, reckless driving, tire violation, violation of driver’s license classification, using license plate to conceal the identity of the vehicle, unlawful use of the central lane, speeding, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, passing in a no passing zone, failure to stop at a stop sign and hit and run.
