Area arrests

• Hearshel Edward Dixon, 76, 1803 Cynthia Drive, Rossville, was charged Wednesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, an open container violation and improper backing.

• Donna Rachell Hawkins, 40, 394 G Fullers Chapel Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with manufacturing/selling/dispensing/distributing meth.

• William Perry Hudson, 44, 394 G Fullers Chapel Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth with intent to distribute.

• Glenford McCallum, 46, 55 Woodhaven Court, Cartersville, was placed on hold Wednesday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Julio Cesar Rodriguez-Valdez, 24, 123 Revina Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with first degree forgery, possession of cocaine, possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Dennis Eugene Walden, 45, 517 Moriah Noel Drive, Resaca, was charged Wednesday by the Georgia State Patrol with purchasing or possessing a controlled substance, obstruction of an officer by threat or violence and loitering or prowling.

• Tammy Denice Chadwick, 45, 704 Cascade Drive-A, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated assault, battery (family violence, first offense), cruelty to a child and misdemeanor probation violation.

• Deborah Lynn Frazier, 33, 4021 Parker Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of meth and possession of drug-related items.

• Kristan Danielle Parks, 25, 1200 Autumn Court-10, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated assault and giving false statements or concealing facts with the government.

• Tia Sue Richardson, 32, 130 Quinton Drive, Calhoun, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of meth and possession of drug-related items.
