Area arrests

• Gene Arthur Burns, 42, 450 Conway St.-2, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, possession and use of drug-related objects and failure to maintain lane.

• Michael Dewayne Hargraves, 26, 610 Olivia Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth.

• Danny Howard Lanyon Jr., 39, 717 Brooker Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of a schedule 3, 4 or 5 drug.

• Juan Marquez-Diaz, 29, 17 Phillip Vann Drive, Rome, was placed on hold Tuesday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Teresa Ann McCullough, 38, 401 Foster Road, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of a schedule 3, 4 or 5 drug.

• Jeremy Mike Norman, 30, 121 Shadow Rock Drive, Tunnel Hill, was charged Wednesday by the Varnell Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• Jose Federico Palmeria-Cruz, 25, 228 N. Erwin St., Cartersville, was placed on hold Tuesday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Carrie Jeannette Parker, 27, 717 Brooker Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of a schedule 3, 4 or 5 drug.

• Adrian Perez, 18, 1101 Frazier Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession and use of drug-related objects and driving without a valid license.

• Jose Luis Urizar, 26, 116 Malone Ave., Rome, was placed on hold Tuesday at the Whitfield County jail for ICE.

• Katherine Dale Watts, 41, 1072 Davenport Road, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and possession and use of drug-related objects.
