Area arrests

• Noah Cain Allen, 18, 4534 Wilson Road, Cohutta, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, reckless driving and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.

• Gavyn Tanner Brown, 17, 225 Allison Drive, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• Peter Ying Feng Lai, 28, 630 Duram Ridge Drive, Wilburn, was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, failure to maintain lane and driving too fast for conditions.

• Juan Cruz Velazquez-Torres, 26, 2404 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, driving without a valid license, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to yield, open container of alcohol, hit and run and failure to report an accident resulting in injury.

• Joseph Chitotle Chibuye, 22, 504 Dalton Court, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, driving too fast for conditions and failure to maintain lane.

• Justin Loring Felix, 33, 1100 Autumn Court, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Torry Rim Hayes, 26, 108 Santella Drive, Red Bank, Tenn., was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and driving on a suspended license.

• Bradley John Collins Nix, 24, 1023 LaFayette Road, Rocky Face, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Austin Lee Parker, 22, 8 Terry St., Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and a headlight violation.

• Tomekico Lushane Parks, 41, 3814 Garland St., No. 1, Detroit, Mich., was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, driving without a valid license and a headlight violation.

• Taylor Nicole Robison, 19, 988 Fox Bridge Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
