Area arrests

• Brian Phillip Bourque, 26, 1658 Tunnel Hill-Varnell Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with criminal trespass and obstruction of an officer by threat or violence.

• Jeffery Lamar Correll, 39, 688 Springplace, Resaca, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and failure to drive within a single lane.

• Bradley Kelson Doan, 20, 281 Chapman Road, LaFayette, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with two counts of possession of a schedule 3 drug, possession of a schedule 4 drug, possession of marijuana, possession of meth, possession of tools for the commission of crime and possession of hash oil.

• Toby Lee Gates, 18, 2181 Dawnville-Beaverdale Road, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with two counts of possession of a schedule 3 drug, possession of a schedule 4 drug, possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of meth, two counts of possession of tools for the commission of crime and possession of hash oil.

• Goerge Anthony Orizetti, 34, 107 S. Henderson St., Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with trafficking in sales of meth, use of communication facilities in drug transactions and destruction or transfer of property subject to security interest.

• Darrell James Sherrill, 27, 124 Greenbay Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with two counts of possession of meth to distribute, possession of a schedule 4 drug, trafficking in sales of meth, use of communication facilities in drug transactions, possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Seth Randall Short, 17, 1619 Flat Branch Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with two counts of possession of a schedule 3 drug, possession of a schedule 4 drug, possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of meth, two counts of possession of tools for the commission of crime and possession of hash oil.

• Deborah Jean Thomas, 53, 1703 Westchester Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and speeding.

• Darlene Karen Angelo-Cherubino, 44, 131 County Road-102, Athens, Tenn., was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with stalking, making harassing phone calls and felony failure to appear.

• Brandon Trace Burrell, 20, 5467 U.S. Highway 411 S., Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Eton Police Department with probation violation, obstruction of an officer, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, underage consumption, driving while unlicensed, an open container violation and driving without headlights when required.
