Area arrests

• Raul Aguilar-Perez, 26, 514 Boyles Ferry Road-26, Rome, was placed on hold Friday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Ashley Nicole Cantrell, 27, 186 Wilbanks St., Eton, was charged Friday by the Chatsworth Police Department with obstruction of an officer, possession of meth and possession of a drug-related object.

• Donny Mark Carver, 36, 7474 Country Village Drive, Cleves, Ohio, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of tools for the commission of crime and speeding.

• Wesley Deleon-Roldan, 22, 340 Forest Hill Road, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• Jacob Smith Ellis, 24, 3164 Hurricane Road, Rocky Face, was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI (drugs), driving while license is suspended or revoked and failure to maintain lane.

• Daphne Cherrie Smith, 32, 3444 Dobson Drive, Rocky Face, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation and two counts of writing bad checks.

• William Jay Stengard, 51, 212 Gwendolyn Lee Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, speeding and driving while license is suspended or revoked.

• Cynthia Blanche Thomason, 50, 213 Colonial Way, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI (drugs), failure to maintain lane, fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer and impeding the flow of traffic.

• Jarren Edward Trammel, 25, 604 Pine Oaks Drive, Tunnel Hill, was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI (drugs), driving without a valid license, a headlights violation and a brake lights or turning signal violation.

• George Louis Arroyo Jr., 29, 601B Leslie Drive, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, willful obstruction of law officers and speeding.

• Reginald Eugene Baker, 40, 204 Yardley Lane, Tunnel Hill, was charged Saturday by the Varnell Police Department with DUI.

• Rober Clemente-Mayo, 31, 5719 Dakota St., North Charleston, N.C., was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, following too closely and running a red light.

• Jermaine Earl Ricks, 37, 325 Mercer Drive, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, being a pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain lane and driving without a valid license.
