• Rene Calderon-Garcia, 29, 128 Lawson Lane, Calhoun, was placed on hold Thursday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Gregory Scott Callies, 42, 935 Cotton Circle, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, failure to drive within a single lane and impeding traffic flow.

• Jordan Deondre Childs, 19, 809 Clark St., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with burglary.

• Robert Wayne Heatherly Jr., 35, 3122 Kenwood Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with theft by taking.

• Jesus F. Sandoval, 37, 1210 Skyview Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with first degree forgery.

• Robert Eugene Shannon, 44, 260 Hawkins Branch Road, Crandall, was charged Thursday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, an open container violation and a tail lights violation.

• John Dorse Brannon, 30, 35 Phillis Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth to distribute, possession of meth, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a felony and willful obstruction of law officers.

• Yvonne Consuelo Hernandez, 23, 300 S. Grade Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth to distribute, possession of meth, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a felony and possession of drug-related objects.

• Dewey Clinton Phillips, 20, 37 Phyllis Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth to distribute, possession of meth, possession of tools for the commission of crime (burglary) and willful obstruction of law officers.

• Leobardo Saldana, 29, no street address listed, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth to distribute, being a fugitive from justice, possession of meth, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a felony, possession of drug-related objects and giving a false name, address or date of birth to a law officer.

• David Anthony Salyer, 27, 704-B Cascade Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, driving without a valid license and failure to maintain lane.

• Sharon Denise Wimpey, 55, 1350 N. Macrow Drive, Tunnel Hill, was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and failure to maintain lane.
