Area arrests

DALTON — • Onelio Escalante, 27, 630 Fourth Ave., No. 2, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with first degree forgery and giving false information.

• Ceilia Annette Haney, 47, 1090 Mount Carmel Church Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Amanda Kay Hess, 22, 310 N. Sixth Ave., Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Chatsworth Police Department with DUI, failure to maintain lane, adult seat belt violation and no proof of insurance.

• David Michael Hosier, 19, 1090 Mount Carmel Church Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of an illegal drug, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and adult seat belt violation.

• Cody Duane Martin, 19, 246 Red Cut Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by receiving stolen property.

• Jorge Alejandro Munoz-Nino, 26, 2417 Sanford Circle, Lawrenceville, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI.

• Johnathan Walker Wilson, 39, 213 Oak Forrest Drive, Smyrna, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI-drugs, failure to maintain lane and open container violation.

• Casey Elijah Henson, 22, 500 Red Clay Road, Cohutta, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with simple battery (family violence), terroristic threats and acts, second degree criminal damage to property, felony interference with government property and willful obstruction of law officers.

• Lisa Danat Jenkins, 31, 1525 Thistle Drive, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with first degree forgery, giving false information and driving while license suspended or revoked.

• Robert Niles Swartout Jr., 25, 191 Irene Way, Cohutta, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with probation violation/parole violation (two counts).
