Area Arrests

• Don Wesley McCullough, 48, 10368 Ga. Highway 225 S., Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of valium and possession of a drug-related object.

• Ariel Amanda Manis, 28, 1303 Ga. Highway 225 S., Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of hydrocodone.

• Dustin Ryan Dillingham, 21, 222 Timberland Trail, Ringgold, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault, stalking, first degree burglary and criminal trespass.

• Julian Everado Fabela, 52, 107 King Circle, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, reckless driving, an open container violation and driving without a valid license.

• Jeremy Ray Hawkins, 36, 715 Samples Chapel Road, Cleveland, Tenn., was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with being a fugitive from justice.

• Clinton Earl Helton, 66, 245 Burr 60, Mineral Bluff, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by taking.

• Bonnie Faith Laney, 29, 196 Enoch Trail, Rocky Face, was charged Friday by the Georgia State Patrol with unlawful for an inmate to possess a controlled substance, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of meth, DUI (drugs), possession of tools for the commission of crime, failure to maintain lane and driving without a valid license.

• Holly Sue Marshall, 37, 150 Ogle Road, Madisonville, Tenn., was charged Saturday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of meth.

• Christian Danelle Clifton, 21, 2209 Roadrunner Place-6, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with felony contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

• Ricky Anthony Green, 49, 1679 Stinnett Drive, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault and false imprisonment.

• Justin Lee Parker, 23, 131 Catie Court, Calhoun, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Nicholas Ra Shane Wylie, 19, 2209 Roadrunner Place-6, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, possession of alcohol by a minor and improper use of a dealer tag.

  • Police: Gun fired, man arrested following dispute on Morris Street (Updated 12:20 p.m.)

    A man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after firing a gun following a dispute at A-1 Towing at 1502 E. Morris St. in Dalton this morning, police said.

  • Bond hearings canceled for two charged in murder case

    Bond hearings for Fernando Resendiz and Jovencio Vega-Garcia, charged with murder and aggravated assault in connection with the fatal shooting of a security guard at Las Delicias on Morris Street in Dalton, have been canceled.

  • Suspect Photo 2.jpg DPD seeks identity of credit card theft suspects

    The Dalton Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects who used a stolen credit card on March 31 to make purchases at two locations in Dalton. One of the suspects was captured on surveillance video at a gas station and the second suspect was described to investigators by witnesses.
