Area arrests

• Corbin Crittenden, 20, 115 Marshall Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by state parole with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, a parole violation and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

• Melchor Lucas-Escobar, 40, 804 N. Sixth Ave., Apt. 3, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Chatsworth Police Department with battery (family violence) and third degree cruelty to children.

• John Michael Parrish Jr., 17, 2647 Roberts Circle, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary (non-residence) and criminal trespass.

• Loretta Marie Patterson, 34, 2828 Halls Chapel Road, Crandall, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with failure to keep drugs in original container.

• Marcus Wayne Welch, 42, 515 Underwood St.-2A, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with two counts of felony probation violation and a child support violation.

• John Thomas Wright, 26, 1325 Lake Colony Drive, Marietta, was charged Thursday by the Georgia State Patrol with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and a safety belt violation.

• Crystal Dillard, 35, no address available, was charged Friday by the Varnell Police Department with possession and use of drug-related objects and giving a false name, address or date of birth to a law officer.

• Shannon Lee Dills, 40, 1905 Flirknow Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth and possession of meth.

• Sasha Rena Miller, 29, 2248 Brown Road, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth, possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Jonathon Lynn Revels, 42, 110 Piper Way-2B, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth, possession of a schedule 2 drug, possession of a schedule 4 drug and possession of meth.
