Area arrests

• Pedro Bernal-Raymundo, 39, 105 Summers St., Cartersville, was placed on hold at the Whitfield County jail on Thursday for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Hollie Marlette Blevins, 26, 4365 E. Nance Springs Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, possession of tools for the commission of crime and willful obstruction of law officers.

• Emedel Jose Gomez-Ruiz, 47, 306 Mary St., Cartersville, was placed on hold at the Whitfield County jail on Thursday for ICE.

• Timothy Jay Hobbs, 19, 189 Abraham Lane, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• Bobby Joe Ketchem, 62, 38 Stapp Drive, Ringgold, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with terroristic threats and acts, simple assault and disorderly conduct.

• Johnny Mae Young, 43, 140 Commonwealth Way, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession to distribute meth, two counts of possession of meth, two counts of possession of tools for the commission of crime and parole violation.

• Geary Davis, 52, 724 Tillman Road, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.
