Area arrests

• Sabino Delacruz-Hernandez, 36, 216 N. Easterling St.-111, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with simple battery, obstructing an emergency call and false imprisonment.

• Jeffrey Todd Hawkins, 25, 1970 Norton Bridge Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth with intent to distribute.

• Azucena Hernandez, 33, 141 Brown St.-9, Canton, was placed on hold Wednesday for Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the Whitfield County jail.

• Wayne Thomas Laird, 50, 1287 Upper Cove Loop Road, Dayton, Tenn., was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by receiving stolen vehicle, probation violation and willful obstruction of law officers.

• Jeremy Lee Marlow, 22, 90 Callie Jones Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with burglary (entering an automobile).

• Ruendy Martinez, 17, 2315 Lakeland Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with simple assault of a public school employee, disrupting a public school and disorderly conduct.

• Heather Nicole Mattos, 31, 122 Coggins Loop Road, Calhoun, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession to distribute meth and sale of meth,

• Stephanie Ann Saladrigas, 33, 209 Dogwood Road, Ellijay, was charged Wednesday by the Georgia State Patrol with giving false information or false name and possession of meth.

• Genaro Villela-Urieta, 26, 278 Mac Johnson Road, Cartersville, was placed on hold Wednesday for ICE at the Whitfield County jail.

• Dilady Veronica Diaz, 43, 30 Silver Fox Lane, Tunnel Hill, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, failure to maintain lane and driver not exercising due care.견
