Area arrests

• Rhonda Marlene Darrah, 48, 712 Houston Valley Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth.

• Michael David Hagan, 55, 407 W. Franklin St.-D, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth, possession and use of drug-related objects, and driving while license is suspended or revoked.

• Marcus Lee Jones, 38, 1259 Smyrna Church Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth with intent to distribute.

• Andrea Nicole Kyle, 26, 424 Davis Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with purchase, possession or control with intent to distribute meth.

• Jose Luis Lopez, 20, 427 Melinda St.-MA5, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with felony theft by taking, two counts of willful obstruction of law officers, giving a false name/address/date of birth to a law officer, driving without a valid license, speeding and reckless driving.

• Cuauhtemoc Ochua-Arroyo, 20, no address listed, was placed on hold Wednesday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Diego Vasquez Orozco, 26, 224 Cooper St., Rome, was placed on hold Wednesday at the Whitfield County jail for ICE.

• Armando Sanchez, 33, 37 Amber Way, Cartersville, was placed on hold Wednesday at the Whitfield County jail for ICE.

• Damarcus Jaron Dixie, 24, 4307 10th Ave., Chattanooga, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of cocaine to distribute, use of communication facilities in drug transactions and being a fugitive from justice.

• Robert Earl Harris III, 27, 207 Lytle Road, Rossville, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession and use of drug-related objects, failure to maintain lane and an open container violation.

• Michael Carl Lary, 37, 601 Moultry-A, Blytheville, Ark., was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by conversion, misdemeanor probation violation and destroying/removing deals with property security interest.

• Kevin Lollis, 19, 2318 Sir Lancelot Place-9B, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• Pabio Matias, 32, of an address that couldn’t immediately be verified, was placed on hold Thursday at the Whitfield County jail for ICE.

• Sean Rasham Otero, 38, 1200 James St., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with three counts of theft by deception, three counts of first degree forgery, two counts of fourth degree forgery, four counts of identity theft fraud, fraudulent attempts to obtain refunds, financial transaction card fraud, criminal receipt of goods or services obtained by fraud and false statement.

• Bryon Lee Petty, 42, 1348 Saunders Road, Ringgold, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with failure to keep drugs in original container, possession of a schedule 4 drug, possession of cocaine and possession of drug-related objects.
