Area arrests

• Tina Sue Torres, 42, 809 Defore Road N., Resaca, was charged April 11 by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation and being a habitual violator.

• Haley Jo Brown, 17, 3220 S. Dixie Highway, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with first degree burglary.

• Kimberly Lee Denton, 36, 514 Martha Sue Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of a schedule 1 or 2 drug.

• David Lowell Dyer, 48, 1603 Elaine Way, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI (drugs) and failure to maintain lane.

• Alex Farner, 24, 121 Wood Lane Circle, Calhoun, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear.

• Michael Paul Finnegan, 34, 247 Sam Hunt Road, Fairmount, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear.

• Dennis James Herndon, 49, 203 S. Henderson St., Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft of lost or mislaid property.

• Chelsea Ann Marie O’Brien, 18, 488 Frontier Trail, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Raymundo Mateo-Bautista, 43, 3255 Ga. Highway 286, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, an open container violation and failure to maintain lane.

• William Henry Thompson II, 41, 300 N. Fifth Ave., Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth to distribute.
