Area arrests

• Reecurdo Diaz-Macano, 22, 1789 Phillips St., Rome, was placed on hold Monday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Catherine Michelle Donovan, 45, 861 Beaverdale Road, Crandall, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of a firearm or knife while trying to commit crimes, possession of meth and possession of a drug-related object.

• Richard Lee Holbrook, 33, 504 Gay St., Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth, possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime (burglary).

• Phillip Lee Jackson, 36, 39 Gale St., Ringgold, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with first degree burglary.

• Jason Edward Keeler, 33, 173 Maddron Road, Crandall, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with battery.

• Monica Isamar Moreno, 18, 214 Platte St., Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by shoplifting and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• Janis Marie Roberts, 55, 1742 Brighton Way, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, failure to maintain lane and failure to report an accident resulting in injury, death or property damage.

• Charles Todd Stafford, 43, 861 Beaverdale Road, Crandall, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of a firearm or knife while trying to commit crimes, possession of meth, having an expired tag or decal, driving while license is suspended or revoked, no insurance, a turning violation and an open container violation.

• Kathy Marie Cordell, 37, 209 Woods Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Tuesday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession of meth, DUI (drugs), possession and use of drug-related objects, failure to maintain lane, failure to stop at a stop sign and a safety belt violation.

• Lesley Shane Holloway, 34, 329 Lasabra Blvd., Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with battery, criminal trespass and DUI.

• Johnnie Lee Maney, 51, homeless, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with theft by shoplifting, felony probation violation and being a pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
