Area arrests

• David Fletcher True, 47, 1116 Willowdale Road-325, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by Georgia State Patrol with DUI and following too closely.

• Alfonso Martinez, 19, 106 Shallowford Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, furnish, purchase or possession of alcohol by a minor, and failure to maintain a lane.

• Brian Perry Norton Jr., 22, 7730 Highway 411 N., Crandall, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth, willful obstruction of law officers and loitering or prowling.
