Area arrests

• Eric Labron Abbott, 43, 1902 Lawson Ave. 2, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth and possession of a Schedule 3 drug.

• Boyce Delaney Aker, 37, 3783 Lindsey Memorial Road, Rocky Face, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, improper U-turns, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving, driving with a suspended or revoked license and an open container violation.

• Bradley Jay Allen, 24, 741 McEntire Circle, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI endangerment of child under 14, failure to drive within a single lane, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license and a child safety seat violation.

• Joshua Wayne Andrews, 26, 2518 Turf Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with trafficking meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Elijah Kenneth Brown, 46, 108 Edgewood Drive, Sumner, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with battery (family violence), simple assault (family violence), cruelty to a child (allowing to witness felony/battery/family violence), false imprisonment, kidnapping and obstructing an emergency call.

• Jeremy Keith Coran, 32, 1063 Floodtown Road, Eton, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of drug-related objects and possession of meth.

• Ceilia Annette Haney, 49, 114 N. 6th Ave., Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with selling meth and possession/manufacture/distribution of drugs within 1,000 feet of a school.

• Zachary Ryan Holcomb, 24, 476 Kirby Young St., Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with interference with a 911 call.

• Cleaston Wayne Hunter, 39, 211 N. Easterling St. 208, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with drugs not in original container and possession of a Schedule 3 drug.

• Thomas Dale Jackson, 22, 1169 Whittle Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with battery against a person 65 years or older and simple assault (family violence).

• Jeffery Darrel McCullough, 35, 547 Ridley Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth.

• Christine Michelle Rodriguez, 40, 2597 Chattanooga Road 6, Rocky Face, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of a Schedule 3 drug, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug-related items.

• James Randall Wingfield, 54, 3235 Fields Drive, Rocky Face, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault.

• Ashley Ann Clark, 26, 117 Downing St., Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale/distribution/possession of dangerous drugs.

• Khaled Waleed Hanieh, 32, 602 Warren Road B, Rome, was placed on hold Wednesday by Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the Whitfield County jail.

• Aaron Scott Neal, 27, 27218 Midland Trail, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated assault, public drunkenness and willful obstruction of law officers.

• Hector Samuel Saravia-Guevara, 28, 20 Drexel Drive, Rome, was placed on hold Wednesday by Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the Whitfield County jail.

• Fredy Eduardo Tomas-Gabriel, 36, 531 Hill Road B, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked license, an open container violation and failure to maintain lane.

• Kelly Elizabeth Waters, 34, 130 Shirley Way, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated sexual battery and cruelty to a child (excessive mental/physical pain).
