Area arrests

• Katie Marie Arnett, 33, 158 Old Cemetery Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by deception and theft by conversion of business property.

• Leonardo Miranda-Crespo, 32, 926 Avenue F-13, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth.

• Lacey Robin Smith, 27, 620 Jeans St., Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with theft by receiving stolen property, inmate in possession of a controlled substance, possession of meth, possession and use of drug-related objects, possession of a knife or firearm during the commission of a felony, operating a vehicle without a proper tag or decal, use of a license plate to conceal the identity of a vehicle and no proof of insurance.

• Labron Mitchell Grady, 39, 1808 Church St., Cleveland, Tenn., was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with three counts of misdemeanor theft by shoplifting and one felony count of theft by shoplifting.

• Brittany Nicole Laney, 27, 31 Curan St., Summerville, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary.

• Luke Tanner Park, 20, no specific address provided, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by receiving a stolen vehicle.

• Clarence Steven Wallace, 58, 3545 Waterlevel Highway, Cleveland, Tenn., was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with three counts of misdemeanor theft by shoplifting and one felony count of theft by shoplifting.
