Area arrests

• Amy Nicole Stinson, 29, 62 Eton Court, Dahlonega, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with giving a false name, address or date of birth to a law officer and felony probation violation.

• Patricia Guerrero-Landeros, 41, 315 Pine Hill Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with battery and battery (family violence, first offense).

• James Ronald Heuser, 35, 711 S. Hamilton St., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated assault with a gun, parole violation, felony theft by taking, felony probation violation, misdemeanor probation violation and being a fugitive from justice.

• Elias David Lechuga, 18, 196 Hamby Road, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with battery.

• James Anthony Pitts, 36, 1532 Sumac Church Road, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation, failure to appear and two counts of child support violation.

• William James Smith, 35, 1131 Bishop Pond Road, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by shoplifting, failure to keep drugs in original container, possession of a schedule 2 drug and possession of a schedule 4 drug.

• George Anthony Davis, 28, 2288 Lee Bryant, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth.
