Area arrests

• Wayne Nelson Bettelyoun, 35, 3217 Sixth Ave., Chattanooga, was charged Monday by the Georgia State Patrol with theft by receiving stolen property, failure to keep drugs in original container, possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Ramon Garcia, 29, 1401 Valley Way, Tunnel Hill, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault with a gun.

• Kyle Lee Gordon, 22, 146 S. Tinker Way, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with intentional inhalation of model glue, false report of a crime, hit and run and following too closely.

• Paul Christian Guinn, 38, 141 Dustin Lane, Ringgold, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts and battery.

• James Wilbert Hayes III, 19, 4495 Hearn Road, Ellenwood, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• Billy Harold Housley, 24, 757 Smith Liner Road, Chickamauga, was charged Monday by the Georgia State Patrol with theft by receiving stolen property, possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Tommy Lynn Kesley, 42, 8188 Thoroughbred Drive, Ooltewah, Tenn., was charged Monday by the Georgia State Patrol with theft by receiving stolen property, possession of meth, possession and use of drug-related objects, use of license plate to conceal the identity of vehicle and operating a motor vehicle while registration is suspended, revoked or canceled.

• Christopher Matthew Kidwell, 36, 448 Plainview Drive, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with burglary (non-residence) and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Lazaro Gabriel Lopez, 22, 10 Euharlee Drive, Cartersville, was placed on hold Monday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Robert Jeffery Mahaffey, 44, no street address provided, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth, felony probation violation and misdemeanor probation violation.

• Jackie Lee Maney, 51, 803 Red Clay Road-6, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with burglary (non-residence) and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Hershel Jerome Moody, 40, 3700 Flat Shoals Road, Decatur, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and driving while unlicensed.

• Christopher Alan Moore, 41, 695 Fashion Circle, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts and aggravated assault.

• Roque Morales-Gomez, 42, 8 Summit St., Cartersville, was placed on hold Monday at the Whitfield County jail for ICE.

• Gabriel Pena-Forcado, 36, 612 Rids Road, Calhoun, was placed on hold Monday at the Whitfield County jail for ICE.

• Christopher Patrick Ray, 26, 780 Falcon Circle, Eton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with simple battery (family violence), cruelty to a child and probation violation.

• Cely Monroy Romero, 34, 312 Rips Road, Calhoun, was placed on hold Monday at the Whitfield County jail for ICE.

• Patricia Ann Troupe, 41, 3246 Chattanooga Valley Road, Flintstone, was charged Monday by the Georgia State Patrol with theft by receiving stolen property, possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Robert Mitchell Woodland, 28, 797 Bermuda St.-4, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with terroristic threats and acts.

• Angelina Reba Cardin, 22, 1269 Ramey Road, Trion, was charged Tuesday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, DUI and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Aaron William Chambers, 17, 3493 Nicklesville Road, Resaca, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Bailey Lashay King, 18, 66 Elm St., Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime.
