Area arrests

• Pedro Enrique Chamul, 36, 310 Viola Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with open container of alcohol and DUI.

• Justin Dale Cochran, 24, 1974 Red Cut Road, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and a headlight violation.

• Shaveyon Shamoene Newsome, 24, 6252 Crestview Lane, Forrest Park, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with forgery, crossing the guard lines with drugs without consent, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and conspiracy to commit a felony.

• Starrla Ann Parker, 53, 2608 Cornelia Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of a schedule III, IV or V drug and theft by shoplifting.

• Jefferson Steven Pavon, 20, 1417 Burgess Road, No. 41, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, DUI, possession of alcohol by a minor and speeding.

• Ivan Perez-Landeros, 20, 700 Morningside Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of alcohol by a minor.

• Joshua Wayne Teeters, 25, 1523 Burns Ave., East Ridge, Tenn., was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts and a violation of a family violence order.

• Roberto Velasco, 22, 6800 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Doraville, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, failure to maintain lane and driving on a suspended license.

• Kristen Kaye Weaver, 27, 751 Keith Mill Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault and cruelty to children in the third degree.

• Bud Max Wells, 52, 224 Scobie Ave., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of meth and possession of drug-related objects.

• Timothy Jerone White, 51, 106 Maurine St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with theft by shoplifting and two counts of possession III drugs.
