Area arrests

• Miraum Makeba Burse, 42, 207 Sims St.-2, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with sale of cocaine.

• Anthony Mariano Chacon, 26, 220 Wagner Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated stalking, giving false statement or concealing facts with the government and giving a false name, address or date of birth to a law officer.

• Pascual Lucas-Vail, 40, 809 Blanche Road, Cedartown, was placed on hold Thursday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Travis Lamont Manns, 37, 12640 Well Court, Hampton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with first degree forgery.

• Erik Guadalupe Martinez, 26, 2631 Rocky Drive, Rocky Face, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, willful obstruction of law officers, an open container violation and driving without a valid license.

• Lisa Denise McDonald, 47, 3033 Alpharetta Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Terry Lamar Nation, 58, 132 Harvard Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Brian Edward Mays, 44, 904 Julian St., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of a schedule 4 drug and a child support violation.

• Orlando Fleetwood Shaw II, 39, 318 W. Oak St., Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Michael Dennis Smith Jr., 34, 269 Stadium Way-E2, Cohutta, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and violating the rules for driving on a divided highway, controlled access road or emergency lane.
