Area arrests

• Magdiel Davila, 31, 403 Lesley Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with sale of cocaine.

• Alphonso Davis III, 22, 1692 Stoney Point Circle, Rocky Face, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale or intent to sell marijuana.

• Sherry Davis, 53, 189 Swinney Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with possession to distribute meth, inmate in possession of a controlled substance, possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Lakhwinder Singh, 49, 307 North St., Rome, was placed on hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement Friday at the Whitfield County jail.

• Travis Alan Johnson, 28, 5019 Laconia Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio, was charged Friday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, following too closely and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

• Tess Elizabeth Little, 22, 582 Avondale Drive, Rocky Face, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and running a red light.

• Roy Lee McNeese, 39, 3305 Bromley Lane, Chattanooga, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with automobile theft.

• Justin Larry Sanchez, 23, 1022 Davenport Road, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Angela Marie Tankersley, 44, 2505 Antioch Road 3, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, failure to maintain lane and improper left turn.

• Rafael Barriga Quintero, 32, 1431 Heather Way, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with sale of meth.

• Brandon Neil Wiseman, 27, 99 Dove Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with obstruction of an officer, aggravated assault, removing or affixing plate to conceal vehicle identity, expired vehicle tad or decal, driving with a suspended or revoked license, no insurance, failure to obey a traffic control device, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and failure to drive within a single lane.

• William Christopher Wright, 41, 2699 Dug Gap Road, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked license and no insurance.
