Area arrests

• Obispo Orozco-Gomez, 36, 2812 S. Hawthorne St., Chattanooga, was placed on hold Wednesday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Stephen Lee Silvers, 42, 1084 Cavender Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and violation of conditions on limited driving permit.

• Justin David Amos, 26, 207 Oak St., Tunnel Hill, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth.

• Vanessa Ann Amos, 30, 207 Oak St., Tunnel Hill, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with second degree forgery and sale of meth.

• Sergio Lizaola, 26, 505 Buddy Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with felony probation violation and giving a false name, address or date of birth to a law officer.

• Erik Guadalupe Martinez, 26, 2631 Rocky Drive, Rocky Face, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with theft by receiving stolen property, theft by receiving stolen property in another state and felony possession of drug-related items.

• Rodney Eugene Plott, 40, 400 Whitmire Circle, Tunnel Hill, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Sean Alexander Stacey, 23, 126 Wilbanks Road, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts and purchase, possession or control of a controlled substance.
