Area arrests

• Franklin Lloyd Cornelison, 30, 215 S. Center St., Tunnel Hill, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with terroristic threats and acts, possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Nancy Ann Dean, 47, 127 Imbrie Way-4, Tunnel Hill, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by taking and possession of a controlled substance by means of fraud.

• Angle Jose Gargia, 40, 1000 S. Manor-C3, Mableton, was placed on hold Thursday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Jeffery Lynn Lively, 53, no street address listed, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by receiving stolen property, felony probation violation and felony failure to appear.

• Hugo Rosalio Lopez, 27, 601 W. Tyler St.-1, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with first degree burglary.

• Felton Chesley Owen Jr., 49, 1228 New Zion Hill Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault.

• Amber Nichole Parker, 27, 34 Torino Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with purchase, possession or control of a controlled substance.

• Jeremy Ryan Parker, 33, 419 Fullers Chapel Road, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with purchase, possession or control of a controlled substance.

• Oscar Barnard Reed, 33, 4401 Green Springs Road, College Park, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear.

• Lindsey Kalais Sayre, 25, no street address listed, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with entering an automobile with intent to commit theft or felony.

• Sean Alexander Stacey, 23, 126 Wilbanks Road, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with purchase, possession or control of a controlled substance and terroristic threats and acts.

• Lorenzo Maurice Wells, 45, 1400 Boxwood Blvd., Columbus, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth to distribute.

• Paula Diane Mauller, 47, 354 Horseshoe Way-F103, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI.

  • Police: Gun fired, man arrested following dispute on Morris Street (Updated 12:20 p.m.)

    A man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after firing a gun following a dispute at A-1 Towing at 1502 E. Morris St. in Dalton this morning, police said.
