Area arrests


— • John Paul Burke, 50, 384 Hidden Drive, Flintstone, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of dangerous drugs, use of communication facilities in drug transactions and possession of methamphetamine.

• Cynthia Geraldine Busby, 55, 162 Cohutta View, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with driving while license suspended or revoked, DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• John David Clubbs, 41, 160 John White Road, Lot 8, Resaca, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Woodie Nelson Cochran, 33, 1337 Old Dalton Ellijay Road, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Probation Office with felony probation violation.

• Sharon Lynn Crowe, 48, 213 Nashville St., Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Probation Office with felony probation violation.

• Crystal Lavone Osborne, 31, 3228 Rauschenberg Road, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• John Matthew Pack, 28, 403 Smyrna Church Road, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Chatsworth Police Department with obstruction of an officer and probation violation (terroristic threats and acts and battery-family violence).

• John Frank Palmer Jr., 42, 4177 Brown Bridge Road, Lot S, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with probation violation (violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, meth).

• Roberto Zarate Reyes, 33, 1075 Orchard Way, No. 11, Dalton, was placed on hold Tuesday at the Whitfield County jail by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Jackie B. Amos, 61, 186 Rolling Hills Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by taking.

• Beth A. Dunsmore, 44, 104 Springhill Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, following too closely, failure to maintain lane, failure to use signal, failure to stop at stop sign and improper turn.

• Brett Leon Ratcliff, 51, 2196 Homer Wright Road, Ellijay, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with probation violation (violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act).
