Area arrests


— • Kaleb Marshal Brown, 17, 1540 Highway 2, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with purchase, possession or control of hydrocodone.

• Matthew Alexander Duckett, 440 Jackson Lake Road, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with purchase, possession or control of hydrocodone.

• Brian James Forrest, 29, 2170 Old Highway 411 S., Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with driving without a license on person, open container in vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, DUI and failure to drive within an single lane.

• Arturo Marquez Garcia, 37,6, 404 Plainview Drive, Dalton, was charged Monday placed on hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement Monday at the Whitfield County jail.

• William David Lewis, 20, 1315 Stafford Road, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Chatsworth Police Department with underage consumption, DUI and failure to drive within a single lane.

• Camden Sage Moore, 17, 170 Dusty Lane, Rocky Face, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault, theft by taking and cruelty to a child  (allowing to witness felony, battery or family violence).

• Marlon Billy Morris, 49, 434 Liberty Drive, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Michelle Lynn Richardson, 43, 65 Modern Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Brandi Diane Snipes, 27, 2160 Miller Grove Drive, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with burglary and theft by deception.

• John Lee Thompson, 33, 3589 Highway 225 N., Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Chatsworth Police Department with violation of window tint law, driving while license suspended and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

• Samuel Virgil Whitt, 26, 3205 Maple Grove Road, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with two counts of entering an automobile to commit felony or theft, two counts of entering an automobile with intent to commit theft, theft by taking, financial transaction card fraud, failure to register as a sex offender or comply with requirements, felony probation violation and bondsman off bond.
