Southeast JV holds off Dalton, 21-14

— The Southeast Whitfield High School junior varsity football team ended the season with a 5-2 record after a 21-14 win over Dalton on Thursday night.

Devin Fields had an 87-yard kickoff return and rushed for nearly 100 yards to spark the Raiders to the win. Quarterback Devin Walden had a pair of scoring passes, hitting on a 5-yard pass to Pablo Rodriguez and a 32-yard strike to Jonathan Gowan. Romero Guerrero kicked all three extra points.

Defensively, Trey Weaver had a fumble recovery, and Rodriguez had a late interception to preserve the win. Dalton’s details were not reported by The Daily Citizen’s deadline.
