Campbell will teach Tai Chi in new class at Bradley Center

Submitted by Bradley Wellness Center

— Bradley Wellness Center will offer a six-week Tai Chi class in January, and a free tryout class will be offered on from noon to 1 p.m. on Jan. 5.

Classes will be held on Saturdays from noon to 1 p.m. from Jan. 12 to Feb. 16, and instruction will be provided by Christopher Campbell, who teaches T’ai Ji seminars for Master Chungliang Al Huang of the Living Tao Foundation in Gold Beach, Ore.

“Tai Chi is a natural exercise with many benefits,” Campbell said. “We are familiar with how it improves balance, eases arthritis and muscle pain and calms the nerves as it reduces stress in the body. But for me it is an exercise everyone can do — even seated — that helps maintain proper functioning of our internal organs, and that is what really makes it a healing exercise for our bodies!”

Campbell has 25 years of study and practice in Tai Chi and Chinese-related arts of philosophy, calligraphy and poetry. He describes his practice as a vibrant qì-filled dance of life, and he travels across the country and world sharing the positive message through classes, seminars, workshops and retreats.

The cost is $60 for members, $65 for non-members or $15 per class (members or non-members). To register, visit, call (706) 278-9355 or stop by the Bradley Wellness Center’s service desk.
