Whitfield County Recreation Department results for Sept. 16-21

— The Whitfield County Recreation Department began its 2013 youth football season with games on Sept. 16-21. Results and highlights included:

7-8 Bantam

Eastbrook Falcons 28, West Whitfield Predators: (E) — Manny Dominguez, two rushing touchdowns; Brett Cole, rushing touchdown; Brayden Moss, rushing touchdown. Offensive standouts: (E) — Hunter Tolbert; (WW) — Chase Cornelison. Defensive standouts: (E) — Austin Myers; (WW) — Nathan Tilley.

New Hope White Grizzlies 26, Valley Point Green Machine 0: Offensive standouts: (NH) — Luke Blanchard; (VP) — Coy Jones. Defensive standouts: (NH) — Will Douglas; (VP) — Drew Hefner (interception).

New Hope Blue Grizzlies 19, Varnell Colts 13 (OT): (NH) — Camden Gazaway, 40-yard rushing touchdown; Chase Ward, 10-yard touchdown pass to Ethan Gonzalez; Titus Ramsey, 10-yard rushing touchdown.
