The Dalton Inline Hockey League continued its 2012-13 season with a second week of play Tuesday at The Zone Skate Center.

In the high school/college league, Jason Cochran recorded a hat trick as the Trail Blazers topped the Silver Bullets 5-3.

For the Silver Bullets, Jonathan Cochran, Justin Hawkins and Hannah Gontheir each scored, while Taylor Harper recorded the team’s lone assist and Jonathan Davis notched 16 saves in goal.

In the elementary/middle school league, the Speeding Bullets and Fire Blazers played to a 5-all tie despite a shootout after regulation.

After four players from each team took their shots — each goalie allowed one score during the shootout — coaches decided to leave the game as a draw.

In regulation, the Fire Blazers’ Luke Cochran had five goals, Aden Scibilia assisted on one of the scores and Jameson Shook recorded 10 saves. The Speeding Bullets’ Erica Tallent enjoyed a four-goal night, while James Braud scored the team’s other goal and Harison Cochran made six saves in goal.
