Jamie Jones: WWE says Kane might not be in ring

Here are the notes and news items from the world of pro wrestling: The WWE is playing up Kane’s “injury,” posting a press release that openly wonders if he will be able to compete in the “Money In the Bank Match” on Sunday night.

“The biggest concern that we have is any sort of brain or cervical spine trauma that may be significant enough to either warrant surgery, or an extended period of time away from the ring,” said Dr. Chris Amann, WWE’s ringside physician.

• TNA has released Matt Morgan from his contract.

• Expect Vickie Guerrero to return to power on “Raw” soon.
