Here are the notes and new items from the week in pro wrestling: C.M. Punk is vanishing from WWE. Punk, who is rumored to have left the organization, had his bio removed from WWE’s website.
Some have speculated Punk quit WWE because he is upset with his spot in the company, while others think his “departure” is just part of the show.
• This fall, TNA will have a lot more competition on Thursday nights. CBS will air the first eight NFL Thursday night games during the 2014 season. Pro football is sure to cut into TNA’s viewership.
• Batista is being advertised for WWE’s “Extreme Rules” pay-per-view, which follows “Wrestlemania” in May.

Southern Style Pro Wrestling is at 8 p.m. Saturdays at 4484 Highway 411 N., next to Eton Flea Market near the Ferris wheel. Admission is $5 for ages 13 and older and free for children 12 and younger.
