Here are the notes and news items from the week in pro wrestling: TNA wrestler Kurt Angle will remain out a few more weeks with an injury.
• A.J. Styles, now 35, told the U.K. Sun he doesn’t plan to change his high-risk wrestling style. He also plans to release a book next year.
• The Rock is rumored to be appearing at the February “Elimination Chamber” pay-per-view.
The Local Corner: “The Nightmare” Ted Allen headlines the 12-member class being inducted into the TWA Hall of Fame on Sunday. The show begins at 1 p.m. There will be plenty of wrestling action in addition to the Hall of Fame ceremony. Regular ticket prices apply.
TWA Friday Night Brawl runs at 8 p.m. at the TWA Arena off Reed Road in north Whitfield County, about three miles north of the bypass. The TWA Action Zone runs at 8 p.m. on Saturdays. Tickets for all shows are $5 for adults and $3 for ages 6 to 12; senior citizens 60 years and older with proof of age will be admitted for $3. Kids younger than 6 are admitted free. Any military member with proper identification will be admitted free. If it’s your birthday, you will be admitted free.
