Jamie Jones: Bracing for Impact

Here are the notes and news items from the week in pro wrestling: Fear not, John Cena fans. The person who you can’t see wasn’t actually injured during Monday night “Raw.”

The simulated injury is part of a storyline leading up to “WrestleMania.”

• TNA Impact wrestling returns to Dalton on April 5. Wrestling actions starts at the trade center at 7:30 p.m., but a pre-show party begins at 6:30.

Expected to wrestle are Gunner, Magnus, Mr. Anderson “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe, the BroMans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) and The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards). Attendees can join select TNA wrestlers for photos, autographs, dancing, trivia, contests, prizes and more during the pre-show party. It’s open to all ticket holders at no extra charge.

Tickets start at $20 and are available at the trade center ticket office. You can also go online to or call (877) 772-5425 to purchase tickets.

The Local Corner: Renegade Championship Wrestling is at 8 p.m. Saturdays at 806 Second Ave. in Chatsworth.

Southern Style Pro Wrestling is at 8 p.m. Saturdays at 4484 Highway 411 N., next to Eton Flea Market near the Ferris wheel. Admission is $5 for ages 13 and older and free for children 12 and younger.
