Here are the notes and news items from the week in pro wrestling: Daniel Bryan has a clear message to WWE — don’t touch his beard. Bryan’s scraggly facial hair has become a part of his persona and he has no plans to shave it, he told The Pitch.
“I don’t know if I could shave my beard right now if I wanted to,” Bryan said. “Imagine if I just showed up to the arena tonight clean-shaven, how mad everyone would be. It’s no longer something that I can control myself. I have to accept that this is what I am.”
• Triple H’s “official” diagnosis after being knocked out by The Big Show on Monday night is a concussion.
• Rob Van Dam is taking a few months off after his most recent match at the “Battleground” pay-per-view.
• Appearing on “CNN Cross-fire” recently, Jesse Ventura was asked if he would consider running for president in 2016. The former governor of Minnesota’s response? Maybe.
