Here are the notes and news items from the week in pro wrestling: Booker T may be retired, but he’s not completely retired.
He recently told the Miami Herald he’s still interested in returning to the ring.
“Over a period of time anyway, I can hold my own for one night.” Booker T told the newspaper. “It’s about these guys and the young guys. It’s about WWE and the superstars and looking at WrestleMania, looking at it 15 years from now. Who is going to be that big superstar? What superstars will be created in that time?”
• The battle of the beards between Oakland A’s outfielder Josh Reddick and WWE performer Daniel Bryan is over. And Bryan is victorious.
WWE.com posted video of Bryan shearing part of Reddick’s facial hair in the “Beard-off Challenge.”
• Bret Hart said he would “think about” returning to WWE as a road agent or producer if the opportunity was presented.
